Rubbery pirate Luffy and his kabuki crew crash a rigid Edo floating theater to battle masked oni overlords, shattering Noh tradition and the fourth wall to torch history's script for freedom.
Synopsis
In a lavishly reimagined Edo-era Floating Theater, the Straw Hat Pirates manifest as living kabuki archetypes summoned to defend the stage from the World Government's demonic oni enforcers. Luffy's elastic exuberance and the crew's anarchic antics bulldoze centuries of stoic Noh protocol, fracturing the proscenium and letting cherry-blossom wanted posters rain across timelines. As the fourth wall splinters, the troupe faces an existential choice: complete the imperial script or burn the theater down to author their own legend.
The story
The Pirates awaken inside the opulent Floating Theater as kabuki stock characters and are tasked with performing the government's sanctioned tale of oni subjugation. Luffy's rubbery pratfalls immediately offend the masked stage elders.
Oni assassins invade the performance; the crew's improvised chaos cracks the fourth wall, allowing past and future scenes to bleed into the present and rewriting key historical beats mid-battle.
United in defiance, the Pirates set the stage ablaze in a meta finale, choosing unscripted freedom over predestined victory and vanishing into legend as the theater collapses around them.

Cold open
INT. FLOATING THEATER - NIGHT Cherry blossoms drift like confetti under paper lanterns. A Noh-masked CHORUS intones ancient lines as straw-hat silhouettes materialize onstage. LUFFY, face painted white with a red grin, bounces unnaturally high. Luffy: Shishishi! This script's got no flavor! He stretches an arm across the stage, snatching an ONI MASK from a horrified ELDER. The mask cracks. The fourth wall flickers like torn rice paper. Wind howls; pages of the script scatter into the audience. Zoro draws three blades with a metallic ring. Zoro: Guess we're improvising.
