In the vast sandstone canyons of an unnamed desert at golden hour, weathered explorer Lira Voss stumbles upon a buried circular machine encasing a levitating alien artifact of rotating obsidian rings. As she reaches out, the rings accelerate, drawing sand into spiraling vortexes and igniting glowing symbols across the cliffs.
